FAQs

How much does it cost?

CTTT is always free, due to generous donors. To donate, click here.

Who provides the meals?

CTTT uses caterers who are residents of Marin City, but occasionally a local restaurant wants to sponsor a dinner and will provide the meals. To sponsor a meal, click here.

Do you pay the speakers?

Most of the guest speakers do not charge CTTT, but some who live away from the Bay Area might need to be reimbursed for travel or other expenses.

Are the events always on the second Saturday of the month?

Yes, unless it conflicts with a funeral or other planned event in Marin City.

Can I come to a second dinner?

Seating is limited at Come to the Table Dinner & Conversation events. To enable more people to experience a dinner, please plan to attend only one.

What if I can’t attend a dinner I registered for?

Because seating at dinner is limited, please only register if you are able to attend. If you have a last minute emergency that prevents you from attending a dinner you registered for, email us as soon as possible at info@CTTTMarin.org, so that we may release your seat to someone on the waiting list.

Can I suggest a topic for CTTT?

We welcome suggestions for future topics. Please email info@CTTTMarin.org with any suggestions.

I know that CTTT is free, but there are costs. How can I donate?

We welcome donations of any size via this link or via check sent to St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 101 Donahue Street, Sausalito, CA 94965. If you would like to become a major donor of Come to the Table programs and be acknowledged as such, please email info@CTTTMarin.org.

How do I volunteer for CTTT? Marin City?

Thank you for your interest in supporting Come to the Table and Marin City. To volunteer for Come to the Table, please submit this form electronically or email info@CTTTMarin.org. To volunteer for other programs of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, please go online. To volunteer with other partner organizations, please visit The Hannah Project.

Is this a religious program?

Come to the Table events are not religious. They are opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to gather in community for meaningful discussions and education from inspiring experts. Come to the Table events are designed to bridge gaps, foster understanding, and dispel miscommunications about each other. We consider each such meaningful opportunity to be spiritual in nature.
